德庆龙母祖庙民间宗教祭祀文化及原型探究

西江龙母祖庙是西江人民的圣殿,是西江人民一种原生态的祭祀文化现象。宗教是前工业社会的基础,祭祀是世界性的文化现象。龙是水神,也由此是统摄自然力量的象征。文章阐释了“祭祀”的含义、“龙”文化及其意义;并结合荣格集体无意识原型理论,分析了西江龙母既是与龙文化相关的水神,也是一种大母神心理原型。龙母祖庙是西江人民原生态文化生命的载体。     

中国乡村研究范式述评

对中国乡村研究的范式进行了梳理,从各大理论的建构及对经济、社会、文化、政治的影响分析了最为典型的5种范式,即费孝通的社区功能研究方法、施坚雅的市场关系研究方法、杜赞奇的文化网络研究方法、弗里德曼的宗族系统研究方法以及黄宗智的市场一阶级研究方法,对其特征和缺陷进行了适当的梳理。分析认为,中国乡村研究应以农户行为为中心,多学科、多领域的研究,任何试图将其纳入某一种框架的理论是不能成功的。     

中西文化起源对比与研究

一种文化的形成与一定的地理环境、气候以及生态环境等自然条件相联系,同时也与一个民族的风俗、习惯、宗教信仰,以及政治、经济等多方面的因素有关。试从自然基础、原始宗教的形成,以及原始政治经济制度的形成三方面对比分析中西文化的起源,为今后研究跨文化交际中的中西文化差异奠定基础。     

论浙江海洋民间宗教信仰中的“人造神”现象

浙江海域（主要以舟山群岛为代表）处于东海的中心,是中国海洋文化最丰富的地区之一。在宗教信仰方面,拥有自己的众多“人造神”。这些“人造神”的原型,基本上都是在浙江海域的文明演变过程中,各朝各代所涌现出来的各种具有杰出贡献的人物,他们都受到民间敬仰和祭祀,进而集体组成了浙江海域的“祖先神群”。这些“祖先神群”的出现,深刻地反映了浙江海洋社会各个阶层复杂的心理。     

Brokerage in the Sacred Sphere: Religious Leaders as Community Problem Solvers in Rural Malawi1

Religious leaders in Sub‐Saharan Africa do not just deal with the spiritual needs of members but are also heavily engaged in dealing with social problems and material needs. Although true elsewhere, the realities of limited state infrastructure and an increasingly diverse religious landscape make it crucial for religious entrepreneurs to deal with material problems if they hope to gain adherents. This article applies the concepts of problem solving and brokerage ( Burt, 2005 ; Knoke, 1990 ) to a case study of religious leaders in Balaka, a small town of rural Malawi. I argue that religious leaders solve problems in three major areas—material infrastructure, activities and organization, and healthcare—and that they are able to do so at least partly because of their connections to various overlapping secular and religious networks. I focus both on the provision of material resources and the facilitation of effervescent experiences in order to advance a fuller understanding of the experience of poverty and the ways leaders in poor communities work to solve problems.     

From leprosy to The Willow Tree: decoding disability and Islamic spirituality in Iranian film

The lack of attention in academic discourse to representations of disability in films from the Middle East has led to an incomplete picture of representations of disability in global cinema. For instance, the diverse meanings of disability in Iranian cinema and the influence of disability on the emergence of Iranian New Wave cinema have been almost completely ignored by scholars. A number of award-winning films from Iran have featured disability as central to their narratives – such as The House is Black (1963), Taste of Cherry (1997), The Color of Paradise (1999), The Willow Tree (2005), and The Painting Pool (2013). Disability in these films serves alternatively as a symbol of spiritual possibility, a mark of marginalization, and a covert social critique. These films examine the emotional, physical, and social implications of disability, while celebrating the cultural power of film to challenge social, religious, and artistic barriers.     

超越传统"儒教"问题的模式探析

超越传统儒教问题的模式大致可分为三类:用对中国传统宗教的直接探讨替代儒教问题的替换模式;弃用儒教说法,专注中国人的信仰和传统的终结模式;通过发掘儒学的宗教性资源来重新塑造儒教观念的重塑模式。尽管这些思路各有优势和局限,但都不同程度地隐含着对于儒家思想与中国文化现实发展及其出路的关怀。     

On Sabır and Agency

This article focuses on the pious practice of sab?r (patience) within the context of the weaving neighborhoods in Konya, Turkey. Through an ethnographic analysis of the everyday politics of the practice of sab?r, which is central to labor relations, this article adds to and complicates feminist analyses of labor politics and the economy by highlighting the interconnected nature of ethical religious practice and labor politics. Additionally, I argue for the need to go beyond the question of whether women have or lack agency as subjects in feminist analyses of labor politics and relationships, and instead point out the need for the empirical examination of specific, contextually-bound practical conditions through and within which women cultivate various forms of ethical action and subjectivities. In pointing out the importance of a project that analyzes operations of power with a keen awareness of context, this essay presents an ethnographically grounded discussion of pious practice within the context of Konya's weaving neighborhoods, underscoring the effects of the coexistence of exploitation and empowerment on the construction of women weavers’ selfhoods.     

The Pastor in the Basement: Discourses of Authenticity in the Networked Public Sphere

Applying Altheide's method of ethnographic content analysis, this article tracks competing discourses of authenticity in media coverage of Jeremiah Wright and Sarah Palin. The “pastor problems” of the last election demonstrate a bias toward issues of sincerity and authenticity in the networked public sphere. Pundits and bloggers use viral videos to construct rival representations of candidates’ backstage identities. Such debates favor “flat” notions of authenticity, however, and decontextualization tends to thwart the critical gatekeeping functions of journalism. Religion serves as a proxy for issues of race, prophetic critique is demonized, and apocalyptic thinking is normalized.
